I shoot not because I want to remember everything, but because I’m afraid of what might disappear if I don’t. Photography, for me, is a kind of beautiful compulsion — a need to hold onto the unrepeatable. Every image is a little act of resistance against time. A way of saying: this mattered. This existed. I saw it.
